Arrangement for transmitting data on a telephone line in conjunction with at least one terminal, the sum of these connected terminals having both speech transmission and data terminal functions and, from the point of view of a common connection line of the at least one terminal, a filter being provided for separating a data path from a speech path, which filter sets up a connection to the data path in one output condition and, depending on data signals transmitted on the data path, is set in the direction of transmission between the terminal and the speech path.
