PURPOSE:To execute quick and thorough desilverization and to eliminate staining even after long-term continuous processing by using a soln. which contains the ferric complex salt of specific org. acids and has a specific value or below of surface tension for the bleaching (fixing) soln. for a silver halide color photosensitive material contg. a specific sensitizing dye. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photosensitive material provided with the emulsion layer contg. the sensitizing dye expressed by the formula (Y1, Y2 are O or S, Z1, Z2 are respeectively the atomic group necessary for forming the benzene ring or nephthalene ring condensed to an oxazole ring or thiazole ring and the heterocyclic nucleus may be substd. with halogen, OH, etc., R1, R2 are alkyl, alkyenyl or aryl, R3 is H or alkyl or 1-3C, X1<-> is anion, n is 0 or 1) is bleached and fixed by using the bleaching agent consisting of >=1 kinds among the ferric complex salts of specific 17 kinds of aminopolycarboxylic acids such as the ferric complex salt of diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid or the ferric complex salt of the org. acid having 5.0-9.0pH of the specific reference soln. or <=100mV difference of oxidation-reduction potential. by which an excellent image is obtd. The life of the processing soln. is extended as well. |
