PURPOSE:To speed up data analysis and editing, by keeping a time marker and R wave data from mixing with the system of position data. CONSTITUTION:When output of an electrocardiograph 9 is sent to an R wave detection circuit 11 to detect an R wave, a signal is sent to a CPU4 via an OR circuit 8. A writing address R in a memory area 5 of the current position data is written into a memory area 6 together with data indicating the R wave and moreover, an A/D conversion data of a cardiographic waveform is written into the subsequent address. Hence, the position data is written into one memory area 5 while a time marker and the R wave are done into another memory area 6. Thus, this keeps the time marker and the R wave data from mixing with the system of position data thereby enabling the execution of data analysis and data editing at a high speed.
