Oscillating construction for an ultrasonic atomizing inhaler.

An inhaler has an atomising element which is oscillated ultrasonically. This is pref. composed of a plate with regions which oscillate at different frequencies. Typically the plate is circular with a portion cut away along a chord line. In operation, the plate is vibrated so that only one of these regions is oscillated, and a medicament is supplied to the other region. This flows onto the oscillating region and is atomised. Pref. the plate may be oscillated at either of two frequencies to produce droplets of different characteristics e.g. size.
