PURPOSE:To prevent curl of a copy paper by peeling the copy paper, which passed between a fixing roll and a pressuring roll, from the fixing roll forcibly in a position near the fixing roll and guiding the copy paper downward to straighten the upward curled paper. CONSTITUTION:A copy paper 6 passes between a fixing roll 1 heated by a heat source 3 and a pressuring roll 2 to melt-fix a toner image 7 by heating. The copy paper 6 is fed whil being wound around the fixing roll 1 by heat and pressure. A tip 10a of an acute peeling claw 10 is provided near the press-contacting point between the roll 1 and the pressuring roll 2, and the copy paper 6 is peeled from the roll 1 forcibly and is fed separately from the roll 1. Though the copy paper 6 is curled upward temporarily by the heat of the roll 1, the copy paper is peeled in a position near the tangent and is guided downward and is straightened. Thus, the paper ejecting capacity, the paper passing capacity, etc. are improved considerably. |
