PURPOSE:To take an accurate measurement easily by replacing the height from the sea bottom to the liquid level with liquid pressure, receiving the liquid pressure by specified liquid having large specific gravity as liquid pressure to be measured, and replacing the measured liquid pressure with the height of the measured liquid and thus taking a measurement. CONSTITUTION:When the height of the liquid level in a storage tank, etc., for raw sewage A, the liquid-level measuring instrument replaces the height from the sea bottom to the liquid level with liquid pressure, receives the liquid pressure by specified liquid having large specific gravity as specified liquid pressure, and replaces the measured liquid pressure with the height of the measured liquid to take a measurement. In this case, the specific gravity of the raw sewage is integrated to the height (h) of the raw sewage A, mercury is used as measurement liquid for liquid pressure, and the sense part E of the device sence the pressure. Variation in mercury liquid level sensed by E is measured on a large scale by the height measuring part F of the measuring instrument which has variation of about 2mm.. Consequently, an accurate measurement is easily taken. |
