PURPOSE:To sample a rock bed certainly by shooting an arrow into the rock bed from a diving machine and sampling a rock base which is obtained by destroying the rock base by impact force by a powder explosion by a manipulator of the diving machine. CONSTITUTION:In order to pick the desired sample of the rock bed from the rock bed 3 at the deep sea bottom 2 by using the diving machine 1 having the manipulator 6 and an arrow launcher 7, the diving machine 1 is first made to reach near to the deep sea bottom 2 and the front part of the diving machine 1 is controlled to face toward the rock bed of which the sample is desired to obtain. After that, the arrow 4 of which the head part 4B is loaded with the powder is launched from the diving machine 1 by using the arrow launcher 7 and the arrow 4 is shot into the rock bed. The powder in the head part 4B of the arrow is exploded to destroy the rock bed 3 by the impact force and the sample of the rock base 3 is picked by the manipulator 6 and carried back over the sea. |
