The pack (1) consists of foil material (9), for packing plants, flowers, a bread loaf or bread rolls. It is in the form of a bag (2) or tube, e.g. two rectangular sheets (4, 5) welded together at one end (3) and at two sides (6, 7) provided with vent openings (10). These openings consist of a large number of slits pref. provided with rounded and widened ends (14) to prevent tearing. The slits are pref. equi-spaced in parallel rows (11, 12), the slits in adjacent rows mutually overlapping and being offset relative to one another.
