摘要 PURPOSE:To vary the load torque of an engine to be tested and to compensate the delay of speed detection and torque control by applying a signal proportional to the output torque of the engine to be tested to the output side of a torque control amplifier. CONSTITUTION:When the rotating speed of the engine 1 to be tested is increased, the opening extent of a throttle is increased and the signal proportional to the output torque of the engine within the range of the maximum output torque of the engine 1 is applied to an adding circuit 20. Then, the output torque of the electric cradle dynamometer is increased to load torque corresponding to the output torque on the engine 1, the opening extent of the engine is further increased to increase fuel supply, and the signal proportional to the output torque is applied as a current value to the output side of the torque control amplifier 12. Consequently, a compensation inertia quantity is increased to load the torque without any delay.
