The invention relates to a photographic exposure device having a colour mixing head, a holder for a slide or negative, and having an optical system for imaging the slide or negative on a photomaterial to be exposed. Chromatic aberrations and variations in brightness of the photographic prints have been unavoidable with known photographic exposure devices. In order to remove this disadvantage, a photoelectric sensor for producing a signal indicating at least one colour composition of the light emanating from the colour mixing head is arranged between the latter and the holder for the slide or negative.
