<p>PURPOSE:To attain a 1-chip microcomputer incorporation circuits needed for various applications by providing a gate array part consisting of the array of basic cells, a wiring area and an input/output cell on the same substrate. CONSTITUTION:A ROM2, a ROM3, a CPU part 4 and an input/output port 5 are set on a silicon substrate 1. The port 5 is equal to a parallel input/output port and also serves as a bus terminal for external connection of the RAM and the ROM to outside. A gate array part 7 is added onto the substrate 1. The part 7 contains an input/output cell having a pad 8'. The basic cells 9 are set side by side at the part 7 and forms wiring areas among these cells 9.</p> |
