PURPOSE:To simplify, speed up, and uniformize processing operation, and to render a processing device small in size and simple in structure by attaching dots of a processing soln. on the photographic functional surface of a photographic material in matrix arrangement. CONSTITUTION:The dots of the processing soln. are attached to the photographic functional surfaces 22, 24 of the photosensitive material in matrix arrangement. Each dot dij is formed of a minute droplet of the processing soln., arranged in matrix on a photosensitive sheet A. It is preferable to generate such droplets by using an ink jet ejection head. As a result, the processing soln. 33 can be easily and uniformly attached and allowed to diffuse into the photosensitive layer 22, and since the processing soln. 33 is fed on only a necessary image area, the device can not only be reduced in size, but an amt. of soln. 33 to be attached can be made minimum, too, thus permitting this device to be adapted for use in formation of color hard copies, etc., from CRT as development processing devices in offices and general houses. |
