摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the measuring accuracy of a device for measuring precisely spectral transmission factor by employing a chopper cut at 1/4 circular arc and a half mirror for dividing a light beam. CONSTITUTION:White light irradiated from a highly stabilized light source 1 is converted through a secondary light cutting filter 2 into a monochromatic light beam by a spectroscope 3. After the monochromatic light beam thus converted is further converted through a focusing lens 4, a plane mirror 7 and a concave mirror 5 into another direction, it is incident mostly through a half mirror 6 in half into a specimen 10' disposed in a specimen chamber 10 and in the other half into the portion 10'' having no specimen in the specimen chamber separately. There is provided a chopper cut at 1/4 circular arc thereof in front of the specimen chamber 10. When this chopper is rotated, it repeats the introduction of the reference light 10' and no introduction thereof, and the introduction thereof into the specimen passage 10'' and no introduction thereof into the specimen passage 10''. When these outputs are calculated, the transmission factor can be measured.
