PURPOSE:To prevent the invasion of dust into an ink jet head even at the time of mounting or keeping, by assembling a heat resistant filter having corrosion resistance to ink in the ink supply port of the ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:A filter 9 comprising a heat resistant porous member having corrosion resistance to ink is assembled in the ink supply port 6 of an ink jet head 1 and connected thereto simultaneously with the assembling of the head 1. The ink in an ink tank 7 passes through the ink supply port 6 and the filter 9 in the head 9 to be flowed to a sub-tank 5 as shown by the arrow 10. |
