PURPOSE:To make it possible to readily confirm the abnormality of a neutralizing agent and the time of exchanging the neutralizing agent by providing a neutralization confirming device at a part of an exhaust pipe for exhausting neutralized water to the outside from a neutralization device, in a burner provided with a neutralizing device which neutralizes condensed water generated in an auxiliary heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The flow of water entering from a feed water pipe 6 and reaches an auxiliary heat exchanger 3. The water flow is heated by a main heat exchanger 2 into which a latent heat in the combustion gas burnt in the burner 1 has been recovered, and then is supplied to a feed hot water pipeline through a feed hot water pipe 7. Condensed water produced on the surface of the auxiliaheat exchanger 3 is recovered to a receiving pan 8, and is exhausted out of the device via a condensed water pipe 9 a neutralizing device 10 and an exhaust pipe 11. The condensed water is required to be exhausted out of the device at a pH concentration within a certain range by the water exhaustion standards. Hence, the condensed water is subjected to a neutralizing treatment in the neutralizing device 10. However, when neutral water passes a neutralization confirming device 12, the neutral water having a pH concentration out of a certain range of a pH concentration is subjected to treatments such as change of color so that the state of the neutralization characteristic can be easily confirmed. |
