The excavator assembly is fastened to the tractor three-point suspension, i.e. two lower draw bars (3,4) and a top stay (5). The excavator is disposed between the draw bars and mounted by a vertical frame (6) which is secured to the vertical post. A rearward facing tippable tractor shovel (24) is also mounted to the frame. - The lower part of the frame has a downward-open recess permitting a drag to be connected to the tractor's normal hitch. The frame pref. has two sets of fastener holes for both the top stay and the two draw bars, in different vertical planes.
