PURPOSE:To control both speeds of idling and autocruise, by an actuator, which drives a control valve of air provided in the downstream side of a throttle valve in an intake passage and the throttle valve, and a control means of each on-off mechanism between the actuator and the both valves. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 30, reading input information if an engine is in an idling mode, disconnects an autocruise clutch 22 while connects an idling clutch 21, calculating a deviation from an actual speed after setting a target speed in accordance with a condition, and when the deviation departs from a dead band, the control unit sets the control quantity of a motor 18 in accordance with the deviation by an instruction giving a normal speed when the actual speed is in a low value while a reverse speed when the actual speed is in a high value. And the control unit, in which the opening of a control valve 16 increases at normal rotation while decreases at reverse rotation, finely and accurately controls the actual speed to the target speed by adjusting a quantity of air being allowed to flow in a passage 15 from the upstream side of a throttle valve in a passage 5. Next the control unit, when the engine is in an autocruise mode, connects the clutch 22 starting control after confirming no depression of a brake pedal and a gear not in a neutral position. |
