Steering column mounted vehicle direction indicator switch

The switch has a return moVement controller (64) operating a direction indicating circuit formed by a printed circuit board (4) mounted on the inside of the switch casing (2). A switch is actuated so that a flashing indicator lamp is operated, when two arms connected together by a linkage are tilted. They are swung about separate points of rotation. - One arm has a hollow spherical end with a lug projecting outwards from two opposite sides, which slide along grooves inside the housing. Nearer its closed end is a partition supporting the spherical end of an inner arm. Its projecting end also has two lugs which fit into a sleeve forming a tilting support.
