PURPOSE:To enable the suction of a working liquid only through a hole being worked, even if a plurality of holes are made in a single workpiece by spark erosion, by always coating the surface of the workpiece with a thin electroconductive film. CONSTITUTION:A suction pot 5, which is connected to a suction pump 4, is provided under a workpiece 2 in a working vessel. A premachined hole for sucking a working liquid is provided in the worked position of the workpiece 2. A thin electroconductive film 7 is coated on the top of the workpiece 2 by rollers 13 and sequentially moved by a winding roll 10. When the spark erosion of one hole by a working electrode 1 is completed, the electrode 1 is displased to a next working position in accordance with an instruction from a numerical controller 16. At the same time, the winding roll 10 is actuated to coat the surface of the workpiece 2 with a new thin film 7. The thin electroconductive film 7 is spark-eroded simultaneously with the top of the workpiece 2. The working liquid is sucked into the suction pot only through the hole being worked. |
