PURPOSE:To automate credit transaction including a check on a card, etc., and transaction data recording including a taxi fare by providing a means which collates data characteristic to a customer which is inputted through a card reader or input device. CONSTITUTION:When a taxi is paid by using a credit card, the card is inserted into the card reader 13 to read data stored on the card and stores it in a memory 12. Then when the issuing company of this card is a credit company which ties up with the taxi company, a display device 14 displays ''Input password number.'' On the operation guidance screen and the customer inputs the passward number with keys. It is judged whether the password number read out of the card coincides with the key-inputted password number of not and when their coincidence is obtained, it is judged that the customer is the reak holder of the card and transaction data is recorded in a floppy disk device 15. Consequently, credit transaction including a card check, etc., and transaction data recording including a taxi fare are automated. |
