摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate an unnecessary fuel increment to enhance the economy of fuel consumption with the use of a control device for increasing the amount of fuel when the amount of intake-air exceeds a set value, by changing this set value in accordance with the atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION:In a control device in which the amount of intake-air is detected, and when the amount of intake-air exceeds a set value, the amount of fuel injection is increased to prevent the temperature of exhaust gas from excessively rising in order to protect catalyst, there is provided an atmospheric pressure detecting means to change a reference value for comparison in accordance with the atmospheric pressure. That is, when the atmospheric pressure is low, the reference value Qc for comparison is set to be large to decrease the frequency of fuel increment. Accordingly, the amount of fuel may be increased when the output power of the engine is required upon travelling of a high land area having a low atmospheric pressure to be equal to that upon travelling on a sea level area, and therefore, it is possible to prevent the amount of fuel from unnecessarily increasing.
