<p>PURPOSE:To realize high speed heat-sensitive recording, which consumes low power and is subjected to less feed fluctuations, by causing two adjacent unit blocks of a heat-sensitive recording head to start recording in synchronism to a motor drive pulse. CONSTITUTION:A control part 1 stores a recording video signal for each line in an FIFO 2 while reading out a number Bc of black picture elements in the recording video signal, and transfers a transfer video signal R's from the FIFO2 to a shift register in a heat-sensitive recording head 4 according to a shift clock Sc in synchronism to a drive pulse Mp for a stepping motor 5. The control part 1 further generates recording pulses Rp1 to Rp6 and shift register data latch pulses Lp1 to Lp3 in synchronism to the motor drive pulse Mp. The pulses Rp1 to Rp6 serve as recording pulses for first to sixth blocks, and the pulses Lp1 to Lp3 serve as latch pulses for the first and second blocks, third and fourth blocks and fifth and sixth blocks, respectively.</p> |
