PURPOSE:To achieve improve connection pressure by utilizing the weight of a wet-type storage battery by attaching electric connection terminals to the bottom of the container. CONSTITUTION:A storage battery is constituted by installing a plate group 4 used as a generation element in a container 1 which has a plug 2 and an air hole 3 in its top section and providing electric connection terminals 5 in the bottom of the container 1. This battery is mounted on an underlay 10, which is made of a resin, a synthetic rubber or similar material and has a conductive connection plate 8 and an insertion hole 6 for the connection terminals 5, to achieve increased connection pressure by utilizing the weight of the storage battery. Accordingly, it is possible to protect the connection terminals 5 from oxidation by burying them in the underlay 10. Furthermore, it is also possible to protect the storage battery from vibration, shock, etc. by the cushioning effect of the underlay 10. |
