PURPOSE:To enable an air flow to be given enough deviation as loss is controlled to a reduced value during both cooling and heating operation, by a method wherein an air direction varying blade is formed with a resilient body and a shape memory alloy. CONSTITUTION:An air direction varying blade is formed such that an about laminar and bendable resilient body 8 formed in a circular shape in cross section is provided about at its central part with a rotary shaft 6 and plural shape memory alloys 9 are located to the recess side of the circle so that they extend right angles with the shaft. Warpage, formed in a reverse direction to that of warpage of the air direction varying blade, is stored in the shape memory alloy. Therefore, when the temperature of an air flow is increased to a sepecified value, the restoring force of the shape memory alloy is increased over the resilient force of the air direction varying blade, and the warpage of the blade is reversed. When the temperature of the air flow is decreased, the resilient force of the air direction varying blade is increased over the force of the shape memory alloy, the warpage of the blade is restored to its original state. In the case of both horizontal blow-off and down blow-off, the air direction varying blade is adjusted to have a proper attack angle with the flow of the air from the blade, and this enables the air flow to be given an enough deviation angle as a loss is controlled to the minimum value. |
