PURPOSE:To prevent a front pillar from getting its inflective deformation, by receiving the input of power out of a cowl side pannel dispersedly with a piller inner panel and a reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing member 14 is obliquely installed in position between one side part 13 of a pillar inner panel 1a. This reinforcing member 14 is composed of channel steel, and each of setting parts 18 and 19 to be locked to a bracket 15 welded to the one side part 13 of the pillar inner panel 1a and the dash panel 2 in an inflective manner. A welding position of the bracket 15 is offset to the inner side of a car room in a body width direction rather than a rear end join part 20 of a cowl side panel 7. |
