PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device which has improved the connection accuracy of a hoop material by aligning correctly the hoop material, by using an arranging tool for inserting and pressing a side edge, and a holding tool which can release temporarily the pressure. CONSTITUTION:A superposed part S of the rear end part of a hoop material H2 whose rewinding has been ended and the tip part of a hoop material H1 to be rewound newly is placed on a placing base 4. The hoop materials H1, H2 are pressed and fixed by a pushing piece 12 of each holding tool 7, 9, respectively. Also, an arranging tool 6 inserts and presses both side edges of the superposed part S by its positioning piece 10, and in the inserted and pressed state, the pushing piece 12 of the holding tool 7 is drawn up for a small time, and the pressure of the hoop material H1 is released. At the same time, a guide roller 67 of a feed device 21 is made to descend, the hoop material H1 is released, aligned with the hoop material H2 whose center axis is correct by a hoop material H2 guide device B, and thereafter, pressed again by the holding tool 7, the roller 67 is made to ascend, and the hoop material H1 is pressed and held. The hoop materials H1, H2 are connected by pressing them by pushing metallic fittings 51 of a welding tool 5, and executing spot welding by movable electrodes 31, 32. |
