This body is produced from a framework comprising central longitudinal members 100 to which there are assembled, exclusively by interlocking, internal braces 101 and external brackets 102, whose position may be adjusted by sliding along the longitudinal members. The framework, which is fixed to the chassis of the vehicle by means of fixtures 156 which are also adjustable, may be equipped with a floor, lateral walls, end walls and a roof. The body thus reproduced has a multi-functional feature with regard to the chassis on which it can be mounted. <IMAGE>
