PURPOSE:To obtain high-precision printed matters superior in hue quickly and inexpensively by subjecting negatives or positives of print plates of primary color separation to monochrome exposure to generate printing films when primary color print plates are generated from a TV picture. CONSTITUTION:Pictures obtained by a wide band TV receiver 1 or a TV camera 2 are recorded on a video recorder 3, and a required picture is selected from these recorded pictures by the operation of a switch 4 and is converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 16 and is stored as electric signals for individual colors in memories 5, 5', and 5''. Signals taken out from memories 5, 5', and 5'' are reproduced, and colors are adjusted by color adjusting circuits 7, 7', and 7'' while seeing them as a still picture on a monitor 6. The picture on a plate making monitor 8 has the same hue. Switches 9, 9', and 9'' are closed one by one to generate directly three films 10, 11, and 12. Thus, high-precision printed matters superior in hue are obtained quickly and inexpensively. |
