PURPOSE:To provided an air conditioner not only simple in a structure but advantageous in cost by providing a heat exchanger within a cylindrical casing provided with a plurality of suction ports and blow-off ports, and making it possible to selectively open and close one or the plurality of the suction ports and blow-off ports simultaneously by means of dampers operating along the casing. CONSTITUTION:Since suction ports 4 and blow off ports 5 are closed by dampers 11a and 11b, air sucked up along the direction of arrow E from a suction port 3 passes through a heat exchanger 8, and is blown off from a blow-off port 6 in the direction of arrow F. When dampers 11a and 11b are disposed, the suction port 3 and the blow-off port 6 are being closed, and air sucked up along the direction of arrow G through the suction port 4 passes through the heat exchanger 8, and is blown off through the blow-off port 5 in the direction of arrow H. When the side plate 18 of the heate exchanger 8 is extended and is disposed in the form of a lid with respect to a casing 12 and is fixed thereto, the side plate 18 functions as a part of th casing. As a result, the device is not only simple in the structure but is low in cost. |
