RECORDING MEDIUM FOR ELECTROSTATIC RECORDER

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an injury and deformation in the thin dielectric film layer of a recording medium which develops an electrostatic image to a sensible image by an electric charge toner, transfers the image under pressure to a transfer material and fixes the image at the same time by interposing an intermediate layer having the hardness higher than the hardness of the conductive base body layer and thin dielectric layer of said medium between said two layers. CONSTITUTION:The recording medium 1 is formed of the conductive base body layer 2, the intermediate layer 3 and the thin dielectric layer 4. The layer 2 has a cylinder shape consisting of aluminum or aluminum alloy and the layer 3 is formed with an alumite layer by anodic oxidation of the base body metal 2 by a sulfuric acid method. The thin dielectric film is formed of high polymer resin layer. Said layer has >=60 Rockwell C hardness. The electrostatic picture image is first formed by a recording head 6 on the surface of the medium 1 and is then developed to a toner image by a developing device 7. The medium 1 rotates and transfer paper 13 is inserted between the medium 1 and a press roller 11. The toner image is transferred and is fixed at the same time by the pressure. The injury and deformation of the layer 4 are thus prevented and the change in the image density even after long-term use is prevented.
