PURPOSE:To eliminate obstruction of various kinds in a caster due to its static electricity, by mixing a conductive material of various kinds in rubber forming the caster used for a cart and a chair or the like and setting the volume specific resistance value to a specific range so as to prevent or remove the static electricity generated in the caster when it is moved. CONSTITUTION:A caster used for a cart and a chair or the like is formed by rubber, and the rubber, in which carbon black, conductive fiber, metallic powder, anti-staticizing agent, synthetic silicate, etc. are mixed as a material giving conductivity to the rubber, sets a volume specific resistance value to 10<6>- 10<8>OMEGAcm. In this way, the rubber, enabling the caster to prevent or remove its static electricity generated in the caster when it is moved, can eliminate obstruction or the like of a machine, for instance, in a computer room due to the static electricity. |
