PURPOSE:To manufacture at low cost the titled molded part, in only some part of which cloth-like skin body is built-in, by a method wherein a cloth-like skin body is in advance brought into tight contact with a preheated mold and, after that, molten synthetic resin is fed under pressure in the remaining cavity of the mold. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, the one die 8 of an injection mold is preheated up to the a temperature of 50-70 deg.C. Secondly, a cloth-like skin body 4, on the circumferential edge part 4a of which polyvinyl chloride is applied and at the same time to the part 4a of which a closed loop-shaped plate 6 is solvent-wedled, is sticked onto said one die 8. Thirdly, the projecting surface 6a and tongue 6b of the plate 6 are heated and softened so as to tightly contact with the recess 8a and the surface 8b in order to realize perfect sealing. Fourthly, the one die 8 is closed together with the other die 9 of the injection mold. Finally, molten synthetic resin 11 is fed under pressure in the cavity 10 in both the dies 8 and 9. Because the plate 6 and the one die 8 contact tightly with each other, the molten synthetic resin 11 can not enter between the cloth-like skin body 4 and the one die 8, resulting in obtaining the titled molded part having an exposed surface made of beautiful skin body 4. |
