The compounds of the formula I where Ar is the group or , R<1> is H or alkyl, R<2> is H, alkyl or phenyl, R<3> is H, halogen, nitro, alkyl, alkoxy or CF3; X and T are O, S or N-R<1>, m is 1 or 2, n is 1, 2, 3 or 4, Y is an alkylene, alkenylene or alkynylene chain, and Z is CH or N, have advantageous selective herbicidal effects against annual and perennial grass weeds. The compounds of the formula I also have plant-growth-regulating effects.
