PURPOSE:To improve the detecting precision and to find earilier the abnormality, by detecting the breakage and water leakage of a hot blast valve from the moisture difference obtained by a ventilated hygrometer provded before and after said valve. CONSTITUTION:In hot blast stove composed mainly of a combustion chamber 2 and a regenerator chamber 1, hot blast is supplied to blast furnace through a main blat pipe 3 connected to the chamber 2. The ventilated hygrometers 4, 4 are provided respectively before and after the valve 10 provided at the pipe 3 and these are connected to a comparator 5. An alarm 6 is provded at the comparator 5, when the moisture difference obtained thereby becomes a prescribed value or more, alarm is generated. In such a way, moisture in blast before and after the valve 10 are detected and compared, breakage state of the valve 10 can be detected exactly as leakage of cooling water thereof. |
