The vine frame enables the harvesting of the bunches of grapes to be carried out fully mechanically. A wire which holds the line arm is used at a height of 140-220 cm in the vine row. The wire is parallel to the vine row. Fruit branches are drawn on the line arm at a spacing of 10 to 30 cm. After the vine has been cultivated, the drooping vines, which have already borne fruit, as well as the remaining blemished or unripe parts are shorted by mechanical cutting. The loading of the vine is adjusted by the amount of shortening of the vines.
