A breathing protection mask of the half mask type, includes a moulding (1), which encloses the mouth and nose, an air purification device (2) with a filter (22) to clean air being breathed in, and an elastic band (21) attached to a filter holder (23) to hold the mask on the user's face. In conventional breathing masks, it is a problem when the exhaled breath condenses and water drips into the breathing system or the filter. This problem is avoided in this invention by the incoming and outgoing air passing from the face moulding to the air purification device through one and the same channel (12) with a constriction (24) where the water condenses without being able to disrupt any ventilation function or seep into the filter.<IMAGE> |
