PURPOSE:To prevent production of spring-out sensation right after shifting and to enable effective braking of an engine, by a method wherein, when forward is shifted to reverse and reverse to forward, the feed of fuel to an engine is disconnected during deceleration. CONSTITUTION:A signal converter 15 discriminates the rotation direction of a hydraulic motor 3b, or whether the rotation direction is forward or reverse running, a theoretical signal SG3 of forward ''1'' and reverse ''0'' is outputted, and a speed signal SG4 for actual running speed is outputted. A speed signal SG4 is inputted to a window comparator 17. The speed signal SG4 is inputted to the window comparator 17, and when a running speed is reduced to about 0 (insensitive zone), ''1'' is outputted, and when a running speed is high, ''0'' signal SG6 is outputted. In case forward is shifted to reverse, during deceleration, the feed of fuel to an engine 2 is completely disconnected until a speed is reduced to an insensitive zone. |
