<p>The gas registers or recorders are connected to a central station and belong to a monitoring installation. A hood (24) is placed over the register to be tested. The test gas is fed to the hood from the container (1) via restrictions (15,12,11,19) which direct the gas in certain directions. - The restrictions consist of a membrane element (15) with gas flow passageways (12) and fixed to the membrane proper (14). A valve (11) fixed to the element (15) allows gas to enter the membrane chamber (13). A spring (18) on the gas-leaving side of the element (15) is adjustable for determining the gas dosage arriving in the hood. A bore (17) connects the membrane chamber to atmospheric pressure on the spring side.</p> |
