<p>The cleaner separates impurities by flotation, and includes an aerator with an air admixing section (2) between inlet and outlet sections (2,3). A wing member (5) partitions the passage through the admixing section (2) into two narrow slots (4), each connected to an air supply (6) with an adjustable slit aperture (7) disposed transversely. The wing member (5) diverges and then converges in the flow direction, its thickest region being opposite the air-supplying slit apertures (7).</p> |
