PURPOSE:To express the medium contrast with variable gradation, by mixing color ink and colorless transparent ink on a material to be recorded so as to mutually change the diameters of liquid droplets of both inks corresponding to a medium contrast signal. CONSTITUTION:When only color ink is used, voltage values can not changed only within a recording density range of (a)-(b) corresponding to five kinds of pulse voltage densities but, by mixing colorless transparent ink having a different dot diameter with the color ink on a material to be recorded, recording density can be widened to a range of (a)-(c). The expression of the medium contrast with variable gradation is enabled. |
