PURPOSE:To provide a table mount type printer used so as to be mounted on the paper placed on a table and capable of printing said paper. CONSTITUTION:A support arm 18 is supported by a housing 2 suitable for being mounted on a table so as to be made freely movable at least along an X-coordinates axis and made freely drivable in a feed direction by motors 52, 20. A printing head 92 is attached to the part, projected from the housing 2, of the support arm 18 in approaching and opposed relation to the surface of the table. Further, a ribbon guide mechanism is provided to the support arm 18 to provide a ribbon drive mechanism for allowing an ink ribbon 94 to pass in fron of the printing part of the printing head 92 to move the same to the longitudinal direction of the support arm 18. The printing head 92 and the motorsf 52, 20 are controlled by the output signal of a document fabricating power calculation circuit. |
