The invention relates to a device for a "French-billiard" surface, which is collapsible after use, easily storable and lightweight (12 kg), enabling it to be handled easily, in its storage bag, when it is moved for leisure purposes. It consists of a flexible "Flexsom" base 6 on which, at its perimeter, is placed a square 35-mm lacquered steel tubular frame 7. The frame is assembled at the bevel-cut corners by assembly pipes 8 and at the central junctions by inner tubular sleeves. The frame comprises a "Hortoh" 9 x 4.8-mm PVC joint strip, forming a ball-return cushion at a height judiciously arranged in line with 3/5 of the diameter of the game balls (0.52 mm). At the lower part under the square 35-mm tube is arranged a double-sided adhesive "Tesa" joint, forming the coupling of the frame to the base. The device according to the invention is intended particularly for those persons wishing to spend leisure time agreeably, by playing billiards, in cramped apartments or out of doors, with an inexpensive and lightweight assembly which can be stored out of sight. The additional device, placed on a table with telescopic legs and which can be folded up into a case, enables children also to spend their free time noiselessly. <IMAGE>
