The invention relates to a combination comprising a household ironing board and a vacuum cleaner linked to one another, which allows the correct and rapid ironing of all garments such as jackets, skirts, woollen trousers, clothing which is too dry or too humid. The connection of this combination is made by means of the plug 6 of the table and socket 10 of the vacuum cleaner. The connection of the hose 13 of the vacuum cleaner with the orifice 8 of the vessel 7 of the table ensures the leak-tight closure of the vessel. The heat of the heating resistor 1 and the heat of the steam of the iron guarantee a perfect finish to the most difficult ironing.
