PURPOSE:To make a panel thinner while securing the rigidity of a car body by joining a metal panel with an appropriate section to the outside of a metal body inner panel, forming a closed section part, and installing the inside of a resin body skin panel being close to said closed section part. CONSTITUTION:A rear pillar inner panel 21 which forms the rear part side wall of a body 20, is formed with a thin-walled metal panel. The front side of the lower edge part of the panel 21 is held between a wheel house inner panel and a wheel house outer panel 23, 24, while its rear side is fixed to a rear floor panel 25. A rear pillar outer panel 26 made of metal is joined to the outside of the panel 21. A swelling part 26b is formed on the panel 26, forming a closed section part 28 between the panels 26 and 21. And, a resin rear fender panel 29 is installed on the outside of the panel 26, with its inner surface 29a brought close to the closed section part 28. |
