<p>The nozzle assemblies comprises two different types. The main one is placed opposite the outlet side of the groove, as closely as possible to the arc of contact between the rollers. This is fed with water and compressed air to atomic and project it into the groove with force. The secondary nozzles form two clusters, one each side of the main nozzle. Each cluster comprises smaller nozzle formed in the block, each outlet being a conical recess. This is fed with water, the central passage for each nozzle conveying compressed air. These clusters spray onto the surface of each roller.</p> |
