The pump 1 is operated by a pushrod 2 unilaterally supported against a thrust member 3. The pump includes an electromagnet 23 which keeps the pushrod 2 in abutment against the thrust member 3. The pump 1 comprises a diaphragm pump and the electromagnet 23 has a coil 22 housed in a chamber C limited on one side by the diaphragm 9 and located on the opposite side to the chamber 13 in which the pumped fluid circulates. <IMAGE>
