PURPOSE:To contrive the consistency of a system by switching to a prescribed magnification or distance signal from a lens, when a distance and a magnification are derived in an infinity distance reference position. CONSTITUTION:When a photographing distance and a magnification are not determined by the transfer quantity from a reference position, photographing magnification or distance data which has been determined in advance is read in. Accordingly, even in a macro-area, etc., in which it is unsuitable to calculate the photographing distance and the magnification by the transfer quantity of an infinity distance reference position, the photographing magnification and the distance can be detected. In such a way, by using an appropriate detecting means in accordance with a state of a lens or a kind of the lens, photographing magnification or distance information having a high quality can always be derived. |
