Keyboard with single-handed operation for data input devices

In order to alleviate the physical discomfort to the operator frequently caused in the case of a conventional keyboard for single-handed operation with data input devices, left- or right-hand operation, the key field (2) is mounted to be adjusted about a longitudinal axis (5) aligned towards the operator for right- or left-hand operation. As a consequence, the keyboard can be very simply and rapidly adjusted for right- or left-hand operation, as is natural to the operator. Furthermore, optimum conditions are hereby provided in terms of ergonomics and industrial medicine. <IMAGE>
