PURPOSE:To couple a toroidal stepless speed changer to an internal-combustion engine in compact by jointing members splitted flush within the face perpendicular against the direction of input shaft thus forming a housing. CONSTITUTION:The inside splitted members 12c of housing 12 for toroidal stepless speed change A are jointed to be flush with the crank case 21. Consequently, said member 12c are integrated with the crank case 21. Since the crank shaft 5 and the input shaft 13 are coupled directly while the input shaft 13 of said members 12c is supported at the bearing section 20a, the coupling section can be shortened thus to limit projection of the toroidal stepless speed changer A from the engine case 3 to the side section to the minimum. |
