PURPOSE:To regulate a field magnetic flux without varying an air gap between a field core and an armature by inserting suitable number of bars made of a magnetic material in a cavity formed in the field core. CONSTITUTION:One or more cavities 4 are formed in a stator core A in parallel with the axial direction of a motor. The one or more cavities 4 are formed from the base of a field core 2 and an interpole core 3 to a frame 1. When the cavities 4 are formed in this manner, a magnetic resistance increases, the magnetic flux of the main pole decreases, and the speed of the motor is accelerated. Accordingly, when the speed of the motor is decelerated, a bar 5 made of a magnetic material is inserted into the prescribed cavity. The magnetic flux is increased by the inserting position of the bar 5 made of the magnetic material and the number of the bars to decelerate the speed of the motor. The commutating characteristic can be varied by altering the magnetic resistance of the interpole. |
